Frequently Asked Questions.
You say you’re a therapist, but who are you really?
I’m someone who advocates for her clients in just about any context. I will work to get you connected to resources and supports that I may not be able to provide. I’ve been described as “having a heart of gold and the mouth of an aged sailor”. I enjoy sour candy, rainy days and the moon. I wear slippers in session, because let’s face it, it’s good to be comfy.
What can I expect in therapy?
Here is what you won’t find: me sitting behind a desk peering over my glasses silently judging you while you lay on my couch. I do have a couch though; and it is quite comfy. You can expect a warm and inviting atmosphere, a compassionate therapist who will listen and crack the occasional joke. You can also expect snacks (for real).
Why can’t I find your office location?
I provide in-person and telehealth services. Prioritizing my client’s privacy, safety and well being is paramount to our practice. Many clients come from unsafe backgrounds or want to maintain a separation between their safe space and the rest of their lives. As such, I only provide my office address to active clients to uphold this policy.
