
What Do We Value?
These are four principles that guide our practice, so you know what we are about!
1 ~ Self-Expression
When you enter a session, we want you to feel like you can be yourself, whatever that means for you. Self-expression can come in many forms, and we welcome that! Be it the way you dress, make-up or hair styles, personal practices, and your speech, come as you are! We want to help you feel confident in expressing yourself, so feel free to explore it in a safe and supportive space.
2 ~ Compassion
We’re going to be honest, this whole thing won’t always be easy. So we want to help you learn how to practice compassion and understanding with yourself as we work towards your goals. We prioritize learning practical skills on how to take care of yourself in a way that feels genuine and effective to you. (which ties into our next value).
3 ~ Self-Care
You have got to take better care of yourself, and we mean that with love. It’s easy to forget that you have needs that, when not met, can lead to some unhealthy behaviors. Developing a self-care system that encompasses all the important aspects of your life is essential. We want you to feel prepared both in session and outside of them as well.
4 ~ Realness
We value realness. Full stop. We want you to be yourself, even if (especially if) it’s not your best self. There is no place for judgement in our sessions or in our practice. We appreciate your ability to show up as you are and to trust us. So we will do out best to get you to where you want to be!
