I’m a licensed mental health counselor who has been creating a space that encourages and celebrates my clients for 10+ years. I work with adolescents and adults of any racial and cultural backgrounds, orientation, and ability to help you achieve sustainable wellness. I am experienced in supporting my clients through trauma and life changes of various kinds in a way that feels comfortable to them. My ultimate goal is to help you develop healthy and sustainable skills by incorporating evidence-based practices and mindfulness; however, I want to help you achieve your specific goals first and foremost.
I am currently training in BrainSpotting, which is a specialized, brain-body modality that has long term success helping clients process trauma. Some additional modalities I incorporate are Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered, Solution Focused Brief, Narrative and Art based exercises.
I earned my Masters of Science in Counseling and Psychology from the CACREP accredited program at Troy University. After completing a 2 year internship at a non-profit organization for under-represented communities as well as at-risk youth, I obtained my license as a Mental Health Counselor.
